Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is going to present the budget for the year 2023-24 in the Parliament after some time.

 Azad is the sixth minister of India to present the country's budget for the fifth time in a row. Before him, Manmohan Singh, 


Arun Jaitley, P Chidambaram, Yashwant Sinha and Murarji Desai have presented budgets five times in a row. In 2019, Seetha Raman

 presented his first budget as Finance Minister. After the Modi government came to power at the Center in 2014, Arun Jaitley took over as the Finance Minister and presented five consecutive budgets

 from 2014-15 to 2018-19. During his tenure, it was decided to present the budget on February 1 instead of the last day of February in the year 2017.

 Piyush Goyal was given additional charge of the Finance Ministry in 2019-20 after Arun Jaitley's health deteriorated. He presented the interim budget for 2019-2020.
