According to a new cybersecurity report obtained by NBC News, 

banning TikTok in the United States or the sale of the app by its Chinese owner, ByteDance, would not address national security concerns or those concerns. 

 That TikTok could be used to steal Americans' data.

  A report by cyber security company Ferot says that the app still has your data even if you've never used TikTok.  

And according to the report, it is collecting and transmitting this data whether the app is deleted or not.

 TikTok can be present on the website in the form of TikTok pixels/trackers in any sector, the report said.  has nothing to do with  Website Owner.

  Web pages associated with everything from airlines and e-commerce sites to technology companies

 and state and federal governments are riddled with TikTok trackers called pixels, which are pieces of code that you can send to various websites, 

According to Ferrot.  are loaded into the browser. 

 They quickly link to data-harvesting platforms that harvest usernames and passwords, credit card and banking information, and details about users' personal health.
